While entertaining and respectable, much of the album simply sounds like emptier Migos tracks. Offset occasionally draws back the curtain on his struggles and regrets, but he plays it safe more often than not. Offset's moody and sometimes personal Father of 4 marks the rapper's first proper attempt at a solo album, coming after the excellent 2017 project Without Warning, a grizzly Halloween-themed mixtape made in collaboration with 21 Savage and producer Metro Boomin.
I always thought that Offset might be the best one out of the group (For a few reasons), but because I wasn’t that impressed by the projects released by his cohorts, Quavo (Quavo Huncho) or Takeoff (The Last Rocket), I wasn’t that excited about FATHER OF 4.Set between two isolated towns – Knockemstiff, Ohio, and Coal Creek, West Virginia – the interconnected storylines spiral around Arvin Russell (Tom Holland plays the “grown up” version), whose father (played by Bill Skarsgard) is haunted by visions of a grotesque crucifixion witnessed on the battleground during World War II.On Father Of 4, Offset delivers his complete story- at least, thus far. Offset is the third Migos member to drop a solo album. The intimacy of the lyrics is almost uncomfortable, but it sets the tone for how deep the album can go.

Parrying is fairly lenient as far as timing goes, and the enemy will be stunned for a bit after you counter. The perfect counter is harder to do of course, but the parry itself is what makes the accessory so great imo.

Lattanzio states it to be a “colossal misfire, a sweaty mess from start to finish,” while still agreeing that the performances are fantastic. Holland’s terrific, taking in each new setback in Arvin’s life without revealing the full extent of the damage.” However, IndieWire’s Ryan Lattanzio seems to disagree, giving a C- for the film. Metacritic indicates the film has received “generally favorable reviews” by users, with an average score of 7.9/10 based on 156 user reviews.The Chicago Tribune’s Michael Phillips gave a positive review of the gothic thriller, saying, “It’s easy on the eyes, though, and it’s worth seeing for an intriguingly cast ensemble, authenticating the milieu as much as possible. On Metacritic, the film has a weighted average of 54/100, based on the reviews from 36 critics, indicating “mixed or average reviews.” Despite critics not raving about the R-rated movie, audiences seem to be loving the film. IMDb gives the film a score of 7.1/10, based on more than 40,000 ratings.
