Offset's rocky relationship with Cardi B received enough public scrutiny to inspire an album's worth of response tracks, and he addresses his notorious unfaithfulness in their marriage on the apology song "Don't Lose Me." Atmospheric production gives much of the album a darkly dreamy feel, but this song feels especially mournful, with plaintive strings underscoring remorseful lyrics. The marriage of minimal, eerie production and uncharacteristically vulnerable lyrics offers a direct window into Offset's psyche in the album's best moments. As one third of the internationally known hip-hop group, Migos, Offset, launches his first solo album, 'FATHER OF 4'. The album debuted at 4 on the Billboards Top 200 chart, and includes a roster of features by Cardi B, Travis Scott, 21 Savage, 2 Chainz, Gucci Mane, Big Rube, Gunna, J. Cole and CeeLo Green.Offset‘s highly-anticipated solo debut album has arrived.Titled Father of 4, the 16-track project centers around the rapper’s family life and features contributions from Cardi B, Travis Scott.

While entertaining and respectable, much of the album simply sounds like emptier Migos tracks. Offset occasionally draws back the curtain on his struggles and regrets, but he plays it safe more often than not. Offset's moody and sometimes personal Father of 4 marks the rapper's first proper attempt at a solo album, coming after the excellent 2017 project Without Warning, a grizzly Halloween-themed mixtape made in collaboration with 21 Savage and producer Metro Boomin.

I always thought that Offset might be the best one out of the group (For a few reasons), but because I wasn’t that impressed by the projects released by his cohorts, Quavo (Quavo Huncho) or Takeoff (The Last Rocket), I wasn’t that excited about FATHER OF 4.Set between two isolated towns – Knockemstiff, Ohio, and Coal Creek, West Virginia – the interconnected storylines spiral around Arvin Russell (Tom Holland plays the “grown up” version), whose father (played by Bill Skarsgard) is haunted by visions of a grotesque crucifixion witnessed on the battleground during World War II.On Father Of 4, Offset delivers his complete story- at least, thus far. Offset is the third Migos member to drop a solo album. The intimacy of the lyrics is almost uncomfortable, but it sets the tone for how deep the album can go.

Grief-stricken, he forces Arvin to join him in his outcry to God at a cross he’s erected in the woods. Only exception I recall is Father balder who for some reason would stop attacking if you dodge but would keep going if you parry.Nervous Records, the iconic label started by visionary father son duo Sam and Mike Weiss celebrates its 30th anniversary with an absolutely jam-packed.Narrated by Donald Ray Pollock, the film opens with “It seemed his father had fought the devil all the time.” On top of the haunted visions, Arvin’s father, Willard Russell, is facing the loss of his beloved wife. Parrying is fairly lenient as far as timing goes, and the enemy will be stunned for a bit after you counter. The perfect counter is harder to do of course, but the parry itself is what makes the accessory so great imo.
